Most of us during our lives have been cautioned
against being "Penny wise, dollar
foolish." This often occurs when we try to save
a little money by using a "free" service. In recent
years, many different forms of "financial planners"
have arisen. None of these professional distinctions require
licensure by the state, as does the Certified Public Accountant
designation. Most financial planners are salespersons who
do not charge a fee because they are compensated by commissions
from the sale of financial products. They have little or no
incentive to pursue solutions outside the realm of products
they have available for sale.
At Alexander & Company,
P.S.C., we believe that the best approach to financial
planning centers on an independent analysis of your income
and expenses, setting a goal for the future and planning the
means of realizing that goal. We sell no financial products,
but are instead compensated on a fee-for-service basis. Our
opinions are unbiased toward any choice from among the available
alternatives because we have no financial interest in your
course of action.
Our CPAs will help you develop tried-and-true
strategies to address your financial concerns. We will do
so in an environment that considers the financial and tax
implications of your choices.
See us for independent financial and tax advice
in one stop. That's dollar wise and convenient.
